Level 1-Under frequent supervision, employee operates pre-setup runs on punch press, utilizes notcher, hand tools, rotex etc. Checks own work for conformance to specifications. Requires use of calipers and some measuring equipment. Level II-Under general supervision, employee performs set-ups and operates a punch press using all types of dies; compound, progressive, draw, etc. Utilizes notcher, hand tools and operation of spot welder to all applicable specifications.

Level I:

• Operates pre-setup runs on punch press
• Checks parts to maintain quality production.
• Insures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.
• Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work.
• Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.
• Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required.
• Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner.
• Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.

Level II:

• Performs set-ups and operates a punch press utilizing all types of dies, compound, progressive, draw, etc.
• Adjusts shut height required to hold close tolerances and dimensions.
• Utilizes notcher, hand tools, and operation of spot welder to all applicable specifications.
• Checks parts utilizing standard measuring equipment.
• Insures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.
• Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work.
• Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.
• Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required.
• Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner. Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned
