Machine Operator

Pelton Shepherd Industries in Stockton, CA seeks a Machine Operator to run and monitor manufacturing equipment producing gel ice packs and cold chain products. You'll set up machines, load materials, perform in-process quality checks, and adjust settings to meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you'll follow SOPs, complete basic maintenance, and document output. You'll collaborate with a close-knit team focused on sustainability, reliability, and continuous improvement in environmentally responsible cold chain solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment producing gel ice packs and related products
• Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings per specifications and SOPs
• Perform in-process quality checks and visual inspections to ensure product standards
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards
• Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance and changeovers between product runs
