Expeditor II in Chandler, AZ

The Expeditor II is responsible for expediting and ensuring the continuous supply of materials to production to meet the output, quality, on-time delivery, safety, and housekeeping in the manufacturing line with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols, and corporate policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal customers to coordinate and Drive Deliveries to meet the production schedule in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of production schedules and production process/sequence.
  • Able to identify delays to the delivery schedule or production impacts and communicate needs to action owners.
  • Arranges the disposition of jobs to meet production schedules.
  • Compiles and reviews production schedules, reports, and status/location to approach jobs in various stages of WIP.
  • Able to demonstrate to the customer their understanding through words and drawings.
  • Be able to work with senior management to create and compile day-to-day job-specific information using detailed drawings, customer-supplied specifications, and customer interaction.
  • Reports any issues with equipment, tooling, resources, or anything that can affect production flow.
  • Experienced in product, organizing, integration, and control with respect to production delivery schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation, workflow, and tools.

Educational/Certification Requirement:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:
  • 2-3 years related experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • At least a year of purchasing or planning experience.
Work Environment:

  • Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to climb and.
  • Ability to stand for sustained periods.
  • Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Ability to 25lbs or 25+ with assistance.
  • Have the visual acuity to perform the given task.
  • Ability to sit for sustained periods.
  • The ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods may be required.
Environmental Exposure:
  • Subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
  • Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals.
