As a key member of the Project Execution Team, the Tool Equipment Install Engineer is an individual contributor reporting to the Tool Install Manager.

A key to this role will be close engagement with customers, stakeholders, and partners as well as leadership of the site project execution team. This is an onsite position in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will require supporting teams to solve site Tool Install Qual constraints, Scheduling Issues, and participating in Task Forces when required. It will require regular on-site engagement with stakeholders as well as virtually working with others across sites.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Factory owners / stakeholders to ensure Tools/Equipment/Kits are ordered and delivered in alignment with the Tool Install schedule requirements, tracking and resolving any issues timely and escalating as required.
  • Represent local FCS site in Central Tool Install and Virtual Factory forums.
  • Work with Stakeholders to Forecast Equipment workload and funding requirements and ensure alignment with FCS Financial Planning/Reporting Cycles.
  • Ensure commit / PO's are in place for Tools/Equipment/Kits to meet the program goals.
  • Collaborate with EMS and Systems Owners ensuring Systems correctly reflect Equipment requirements and schedule.
  • Drive Systems and Part number configuration/genealogy and accuracy for RFT (right first time) Order / Kits delivery.
  • Align all stakeholders to enable detailed execution planning to support Tool Install Milestones / activities.
  • Lead meetings for Planning and Co-ordination across multiple suppliers, trade contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Work with Suppliers to ensure business needs are understood and that Equipment, Materials and Resources are positioned to deliver services on time.
  • Maintain awareness of any commercial issues / risks / capacity with Contractors to enable early course correction / resolution.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are trained, competent and comply with SOP's/Procedures.
  • Request and process timely funding requests before work commences to prevent ATFCO's. (After the fact Change Orders)
  • Review and provide feedback, incorporate cross-site learnings into Tool Install operations.
  • Ensure scope is carried out in a manner that meets Intel safety, protocol/housekeeping and quality standards and expectations.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality project plans that enable accurate and cost-effective delivery of scope.
  • Foster innovation and transform traditional tool construction and commissioning practices by driving new methods and solutions through leveraging industry insights.
  • Build and drive safety culture of caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.
  • Escalate constraints where necessary and assist in the timely removal of roadblocks.
  • Act as the primary Intel equipment owner from pre-design through SL2 Signoff in mitigating install and facility problems, who is expected to drive troubleshooting efforts to lean, decisive resolution in order to mitigate delays on assigned projects.
