Surface Mount Equipment Operator

Job Title

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines
• Setup and operation of automatic and semi-automatic stencil printers
• Setup and operation of mass reflow ovens
• Perform manual component placement and inspection
• Perform detailed quality inspection of populated circuit boards
• Perform routine machine maintenance
Job Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience operating SMT equipment

Good working knowledge of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards

Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bill of Materials and Assembly drawings

Expected to communicate well, both verbally and in written format

Component identification ability required

Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts

Candidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions
