Steel Washer​/Helper

Steel fabrication and erection company located in Phoenix, Arizona. We specialize in commercial structural steel, fencing, park structures, automatic gates, and custom design-build metal work. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Steel Washer / Helper to join our fabrication shop team.

• Clean and wash steel materials in preparation for welding and painting.
• Use sponges, soap, and scrubbing tools to remove oils, dirt, and contaminants from steel surfaces.
• Assist welders and painters with shop tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Sweep and clean all shop areas on a weekly basis.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous shop, construction, manufacturing, or metal fabrication experience is a plus, but not required.

• Full-time, hourly position
