Chemical Technician​/ISO Tank Operator

Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring multiple Chemical Technicians / ISO Tank Operators to support high-purity chemical operations at a major semiconductor facility in North Phoenix, AZ.

This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with openings across day, night, and backup coverage. Candidates will receive company and site-specific training before supporting chemical transfer operations inside the fab.

Pay: $27.00/hr + applicable night shift differential

Start: ASAP for training | Site operations ramping toward January 2027

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM | 2 days on / 2 days off | $27/hr
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM | 2 days on / 2 days off | $27/hr + 15% shift differential ($31.05/hr)
• Backup Coverage:
  Day and night backup positions available. When not covering a site shift, employees may work a standard daytime schedule supporting training and operations. Night coverage receives the applicable shift differential.

• Support the safe transfer of high-purity chemicals from ISO tankers into customer equipment and Clean Coupling Booths.
• Perform pre-transfer inspections of hoses, valves, fittings, grounding systems, tanks, and transfer equipment.
• Connect and disconnect chemical transfer equipment following approved procedures.
• Verify chemical identity, batch information, quantities, and transfer documentation before unloading.
• Conduct required sampling and maintain accurate operational records.
• Monitor chemical unloading throughout the transfer process and immediately report abnormalities, spills, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions.
• Support movement and positioning of ISO tankers/vehicles within the facility as trained.
• Follow strict PPE, contamination-control, cleanroom, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Perform work-at-height activities using required fall-protection equipment and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards in chemical transfer areas.
• Coordinate with customer representatives and internal operations teams before and during transfers.
• Stop work immediately if safety, quality, or procedural requirements are not met.

• Experience in chemical handling, manufacturing, industrial operations, logistics, tank transfer, production, or semiconductor environments preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow detailed written procedures.
• Comfortable working around hazardous chemicals, acids, solvents, and flammable materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to contamination control and product quality.
• Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts and being active throughout the shift.
• Able to work at heights and use required fall-protection equipment.
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to meet semiconductor site badging, PPE, safety, and access requirements.
• Chemical handling, hazardous materials, or work-at-height certifications are a plus, but company training will be provided.
