Phoenix Rising FC is seeking a creative and energetic Matchday Social Media Intern to join our team during home matches. This role works directly alongside the Social Media Manager to help capture the excitement of matchday through live match content, fan engagement, and partnership activations.

Whether it's capturing the supporters' section, a game-winning celebration, or fulfilling a sponsor activation, you're excited to help tell the story of Phoenix Rising FC in real time. If you're passionate about sports, social media, and creating content in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a professional sports organization.

• Assist with live social media coverage across Phoenix Rising FC's social platforms during home matches.
• Capture photo and video content for Instagram Stories, Reels, Tik Tok, X, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
• Support real-time content creation, such as:
  • Behind-the-scenes moments
  • Player arrivals
  • Warmups
  • Goals
  • Celebrations
  • Supporter & fan activations/experiences
  • Stadium atmosphere
  • Community moments
• Assist with partner and sponsor deliverables, ensuring contractual social media obligations are fulfilled accurately.
• Work closely with the Social Media Manager to execute the club's matchday content strategy.
• Assist with organizing and transferring photo/video assets during and after each match.
• Be adaptable and ready to support other digital content needs as they arise throughout the matchday.

• Passion for sports, social media, and digital storytelling.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, X, Facebook, and emerging social media trends.
• Comfortable creating content using smartphones and/or DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Availability to work evenings/weekends for Phoenix Rising FC home matches.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Cap Cut is a plus.
• Photography and/or videography experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience shooting vertical content for social media.
• Basic knowledge of soccer and the flow of a live match.
• Must be able to work all home matches and select club events.
