Pay: $15.15 USD hourly
Intern OpportunitiesThe Arizona Board of Regents offers paid intern opportunities in Communications and Government Affairs for students from Arizona’s public universities. Positions require 15–19 hours per week and are eligible for course credit. Interns receive mentorship to support academic development.
Intern Types & Responsibilities- Events and Engagement Intern
: support planning and execution of convenings, events, and outreach; assist with logistics, scheduling, materials, run‑of‑show, and on‑site support; provide event communications and virtual event support. - Government Affairs Intern
: support policy and government affairs work through research, data entry, and writing; demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to organize complex information into clear, accessible formats. - Graphic Design Intern
: support visual storytelling and brand execution across platforms; develop graphics for digital and print use; maintain consistency with ABOR’s visual identity. - Communications and Multimedia Intern
: assist with content creation and storytelling across social media, web, video and digital communication; write, produce multimedia, plan content, and amplify key initiatives.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong AP‑style writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Must be available to work in the Phoenix office.
