Istari Digital is a high-growth technology company enabling the next generation of AI-native engineering across aerospace, defense, and industrial enterprises. Our infrastructure platform orchestrates data across tools, organizations, and classification levels, removing barriers that limit digital engineering, and empowers customers to modernize mission-critical workflows and unlock meaningful ROI from digital transformation at scale.

As demand accelerates across commercial aerospace & defense, we are expanding our marketing organization to strengthen field engagement with primes, tier suppliers, and emerging defense innovators.

Position Overview

The Field Marketing Manager leads field marketing execution, working closely with the Marketing Lead and sales to turn strategy into on-the-ground engagement. This role owns Istari Digital’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and regional events, including the booth conversations, executive touches, and follow-up that turn engagement into pipeline.

You will execute the field marketing calendar, from trade shows and conferences to localized activations and account-based outreach, while contributing meaningful input on where investment should be prioritized. While the Marketing Lead sets overall budget and strategy, your read on the field (which events matter, which accounts are engaged, what's resonating) directly shapes the all-up marketing plan.

The Marketing Lead owns marketing strategy, budget, and messaging across the business. The Digital Marketing & Content Specialist owns content and digital campaign execution. The Field Marketing Manager owns field and in-person execution, ensuring Istari Digital shows up prepared, well-positioned, and ready to convert engagement into pipeline.

Together, these roles translate company strategy into consistent, coordinated go-to-market execution across every channel prospects encounter.

Core Responsibilities Program Planning & Execution
  • Provide input on quarterly field marketing plans and prioritization, drawing on direct knowledge of which accounts, events, and regions are showing the strongest engagement; execute the resulting programs from initial planning through completion
  • Plan, run, and attend trade show and conference presence, including booth staffing, meeting scheduling with priority prospects and accounts, and lead capture setup so engagement translates into actionable follow-up
  • Execute localized activations such as direct mail and gifting to target and ABM accounts, in-person event touches, and conference-adjacent placements designed to build visibility around the industry's highest-value gatherings
Event Operations
  • Manage event logistics end-to-end, including timelines, deliverables, and on-site setup and teardown, ensuring every activation runs smoothly from initial planning through breakdown
  • Order and manage event swag, signage, and collateral inventory, keeping materials on-brand and in stock ahead of key events
  • Manage event budget tracking and vendor invoicing within approved spend, maintaining a clear record of where field investment is going
  • Coordinate speaker and session logistics for conferences, including abstract submissions for speaking opportunities and scheduling coordination with internal subject matter experts and external event organizers
Field & Sales Coordination
  • Adapt corporate campaigns and content for field relevance, ensuring company-level messaging lands with the specific audiences and personas engaged on the ground
  • Log event leads into the CRM and coordinate with sales on timely follow-up
  • Conduct post-event follow-up internally, including debriefs with sales to close the loop on lead quality, helping refine targeting and event selection going forward
Reporting
  • Track and report on pipeline connected to field programs, sharing results with the Marketing Lead and sales team to maintain shared visibility into what field marketing is driving
  • Share field intelligence and recommendations, including content gaps, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback gathered in the field, to help refine where future program investment should go
Required Qualifications Experience
  • 3+ years in field marketing or event marketing
  • Experience executing marketing programs, including event logistics
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team without heavy structure
Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong organizational and vendor-management skills

  • Good communication skills and comfort working directly with sales
  • Willingness to travel (typically 20–30%)
  • Comfortable executing against a budget/strategy while contributing meaningful input
Preferred Experience
