Job Description & How to Apply Below

Nuclearn brings modern AI to one of the most demanding industries in the world: nuclear power. The work that keeps a plant running safely sits under mountains of procedures, regulatory documentation, and engineering review, and most of it is still done by hand. We build AI made for the realities of nuclear operations, not adapted from generic tools, so the engineers and operators who keep plants running can spend their time where it counts.

We're out to rebuild how an entire industry runs, not tinker at its edges.

This matters more now than ever. Nuclear is having its biggest moment in a generation, and we're building at the center of it. As the world turns back to nuclear for clean, reliable power, operators have to do more without growing their experienced workforce at the same pace. Our aim reaches past any one tool: we want to partner with utilities across the industry to make nuclear faster to run and safer to scale.

We're not just bringing AI to nuclear, we're challenging the idea that a safety-first industry has to be a slow one. We win as one team, we make every dollar and hour count, and we treat our customers' wins as our own.

The role

Nuclearn is hiring its first Senior Manager of Field Marketing and Events, and the job is to turn a packed calendar of nuclear industry conferences and trade shows into a real pipeline engine. We show up everywhere our customers and prospects do, and today that presence runs on scattered ownership and last‑minute scramble. Your job is to make it run on a repeatable playbook.

We're post product‑market fit and scaling, and our event calendar is only getting heavier. Booths and sponsor ships without a coordinated plan before, during, and after each show leave meetings unbooked and pipeline on the table. You'll own the full lifecycle: pre‑event strategy and outreach, on‑site execution and coordination, and post‑event follow‑up that converts conversations into meetings.

You'll report to our VP of Marketing and partner daily with Sales, since this role exists to fuel their pipeline. This is an individual contributor role; you're building the function, not managing a team. Two things matter most, a calendar of events that runs like clockwork, and a steady flow of booked meetings that Sales can trust came from real interest.

What you'll do
  • Event strategy and calendar
. Decide which nuclear industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events are worth our budget and people, and build the annual calendar around where our buyers actually are.

  • Pre‑event coordination
. Own logistics, booth and sponsorship execution, staffing plans, and pre‑show outreach that fills our calendar with meetings before the doors even open.

  • On‑site execution
. Be the person who makes sure the booth is built, the team knows the plan, meetings happen on time, and nothing falls through the cracks while we're in the room with customers.

  • Post‑event follow‑up and conversion
. Own the communications that turn a badge scan or a booth conversation into a booked meeting, and make sure no lead goes cold waiting on a follow‑up that never comes.

  • Sales support strategy
. Build the connective tissue between field marketing and the sales team: briefing reps before shows, arming them with the right materials, and reporting back on what events actually produced in pipeline.

  • Reporting and iteration
. Track what each event costs and what it returns in meetings and pipeline, and use that to sharpen next year's calendar instead of repeating it by habit.

About you

You've spent 5+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or a hybrid marketing/sales‑development role at a B2B company, and you've owned an event calendar end to end, not just staffed a booth someone else planned.

You think in systems, not one‑off shows. When an event ends, you already know what worked, what didn't, and what changes before the next one.

You're comfortable building without a playbook. There's no field marketing function here yet, so you're the one who decides what good looks like and then builds it.

You translate between Marketing and Sales without taking a side. You understand why Sales wants booked meetings and why Marketing wants brand presence,…
