Retail Media Ad Operations Manager

• Coach and mentor junior talent to become retail media solution experts.
• Train Retail Media Sponsored Ad and Programmatic Specialists in best practices and operational processes.
• Inspire direct reports to achieve quarterly, annual, and long-term goals.
• Foster open communication and 360-degree feedback.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners and support team development, routines, and vision.
• Develop and execute retail media strategies aligned with business goals to drive sales and visibility.
• Build relationships with media agencies, client teams, retailer partners, and ad technology partners.
• Align advertising strategies with brand management, product, and integrated marketing teams.
• Create client proposals and presentations, lead client meetings, and present quarterly and annual business reviews.
• Support sponsored search, Amazon DSP, and programmatic campaigns, including keyword research, campaign setup, DSP order builds, audience strategy, targeting, bidding, budget management, pacing, and performance analysis.
• Review campaign billing and identify process improvements and documentation opportunities.
• Optimize targeting, audiences, keywords, bids, ad placements, and DSP bid strategies using data insights.
• Provide post-campaign analysis, performance reporting, optimization recommendations, and upselling opportunities.
• Conduct A/B testing and monitor competitors, industry trends, algorithm updates, and the competitive landscape.

• 5-8 years of experience managing retail media sponsored search, Amazon DSP, and programmatic ad solutions (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart) with a track record of achieving client objectives for large, complex accounts.
• 2+ years of experience leading and coaching a team, ideally with 3-5 direct reports.
• Understanding of SEM to pair with Programmatic.
• Proficiency in performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition.
• Expertise in retail media ad technology, including Amazon DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Skai, Helium 10, Pacvue, Analytic Index, and Intentwise.
• Ability to translate AMC insights into actions and recommendations connecting DSP performance, Search, and the total commerce flywheel.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
• Project and campaign management across concurrent clients and campaigns.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead and present recommendations to clients.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities and concurrent deadlines.

Demonstrates expertise in retail media strategies, including Amazon DSP and programmatic advertising, while effectively leading and mentoring teams to achieve client objectives and drive sales. Proficient in performance marketing and data analysis to optimize campaigns and enhance client relationships.
