About the RoleWe are looking for a Director, Corporate Communications and Brand
, to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will lead Model N’s corporate communications, public relations, and branding efforts. You will work closely with executive leadership, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Internal Communications to strengthen Model N’s market presence, elevate brand credibility, and amplify our position as a trusted leader in revenue optimization and compliance for life sciences.
This role is critical to ensuring our brand, messaging, and communications efforts are aligned and impactful. You’ll help shape how Model N is perceived by customers, prospects, partners, media, industry leaders, and employees.
Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Communications & Public Relations
- Lead Model N’s external communications to increase thought leadership, brand awareness, visibility, and credibility across the life sciences industry.
- Own all public relations activities, including press releases, thought leadership content, executive visibility programs, media activations, and agency partnerships.
- Lead executive communications initiatives, including keynote presentations, customer and industry event messaging, thought leadership programs, and strategic communications for senior leadership.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Success to amplify customer stories, product launches, industry insights, and key company milestones.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic business initiatives through comprehensive communications planning and execution, stakeholder messaging, and executive alignment.
- Partner closely with Internal Communications to develop complementary communications strategies for significant company milestones, like M&A, leadership announcements, and beyond.
- Oversee day-to-day agency management, including contracts, budgets, reporting, and renewals.
Brand Strategy and Governance
- Own and evolve the company’s brand strategy, visual identity, messaging framework, and governance to ensure a consistent brand experience across all internal and external touchpoints.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of brand standards, templates, tools, and resources to drive adoption and consistency across the organization.
- Manage Model N’s graphic designer and agency partners, providing creative direction and oversight of brand design initiatives and asset development.
Social Media and Paid Advertising
- Own and execute comprehensive organic and paid social media strategies that strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and market credibility.
- Lead social media editorial planning, content development, campaign execution, and performance reporting across channels.
- Partner with the broader Marketing team to evolve Model N’s paid advertising strategy, improving brand visibility, campaign performance, and audience reach.
In the first 90 days, you will:
- Build an understanding of Model N’s business, customers, industry landscape, corporate strategy, and brand positioning.
- Establish trusted partnerships with senior leaders across Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Internal Communications, and executive leadership.
- Assess existing corporate communications, brand, social media, and executive communications programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
