Vaco has partnered with a mission-driven non-profit organization in search of a skilled Tax Preparer to support their annual filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Title:

Non-Profit Tax Preparer (Form 990)

Location:

Phoenix (remote)

Pay rate: $50 per hour

• Prepare and file annual tax returns, including Form 990 and other required forms
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of tax-related transactions and activities
• Provide training and support to staff on tax-related matters as needed

• BS in Accounting, or related field
• Experience in non-profit accounting required
• Experience in Quick Books required
• Experience with IRS regulations and tax laws governing nonprofit organizations

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range referenced above reasonably estimates base compensation where required by law. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
