HOW

WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

You will lead and coordinate the Family Assistance Program by supporting low‑income households, including members of Indian Tribes, in accessing utility assistance programs throughout Arizona. You will serve as a key resource for individuals and families, ensuring they receive accurate information, guidance, and support throughout the application process.

You will prepare for audits, complete required monthly reports, and help ensure program compliance with policies and procedures. You will coordinate travel logistics, manage access to program sites, oversee office supply management, and provide updates and reports to the Program Director.

You will maintain accurate records of services provided, including tracking client data and program outcomes. You will support outreach efforts by identifying community engagement opportunities, attending outreach events, and building relationships with community partners.

You will also provide operational support by assisting with front desk responsibilities, answering calls, greeting clients, and helping individuals and families in crisis with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies

Education/Background:

  • A baccalaureate degree or at least two years of experience working with adult low‑income population preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing and proof of insurance.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, and web‑based computer programs.
