The Opportunity Tree (TOT) has a full-time, in-person Marketing & Development Manager position available at our central Phoenix campus!
Job Summary:The Marketing & Development Manager will manage the agency’s social media platforms and website, marketing campaigns and collateral, donor management, external communication systems, photos, and videos. The Marketing & Development Manager will support administrative level marketing and development operations such as organizing and implementing fundraising events, attracting and retaining individual donors and sponsors, and cultivating community partnerships. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and works closely with all departments in the organization.
Essential Job Functions:Coordinate and maintain agency website and social media platforms.Develop and create agency marketing materials, program fliers, monthly newsletters, ads, sponsorship packets, and other collateral.Photograph & capture agency activities, special events, Member stories, & other daily programming.Assist with cultivating potential donors & community partnerships.Assist with growing the agency’s donor base & individual contributions.Manage the agency’s donor management system & external communication (email) system.Assist with attracting & cultivating sponsors for special events.Develop and manage targeted marketing campaigns such as Giving Tuesday, AZ Charitable Tax Credit campaign,Assist with gathering information for grant applications a reporting.Collaborate with agency departments to highlight Member stories and engaging content.Tell the story of The Opportunity Tree to the community!Promote and maintain a collaborative and respectful working environment and line of communication with all stakeholders of The Opportunity Tree.Attend all required meetings and training.Serve as an advocate for people with intellectual & developmental disabilities, both internally within the organization and externally in the community.Other job duties as assigned.Requirements
Job Requirements:Minimum 18 years of ageValid driver license with Non-Restricted Motor Vehicle Record and compliance with the requirements of The Opportunity Tree’s insurance carrier.Successfully meet AZ-DPS requirements for IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.Fluent in speaking, writing and reading English.Excellent communication skills in a variety of outlets.Meets one of the following: (a) Bachelor’s degree in marketing, human services or related field (Special Education, Social Services, etc.) and one (1) year of full-time marketing employment working with individuals with disabilities and/or non-profit organizations; (b) or High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of full-time marketing employment working with individuals with disabilities and/or non-profit organizationsKnowledge of marketing & development best practices.Training or work experience in listed Essential Job Functions.Intermediate knowledge of design software (Adobe, Canva, etc.)Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and other related software.Personal enthusiasm for participation in a non-profit organization, which provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Positive attitude and ability to represent The Opportunity Tree effectively in the community.Successful completion and maintain all required training which may include CPR, First Aid, Article…
