Salary: $68,000. Grade: 22. Hybrid.
Job SummaryThis position reports to the Environmental Program Manager for the Lead‑Safe Homes Program. The coordinator leads outreach and community engagement efforts to increase awareness of lead hazards, identify eligible households, and support referrals for housing assessment and remediation services. The role works closely with the Program Manager and community partners to expand program reach, develop educational materials, support community presentations, and document activities for program monitoring and reporting.
Job Duties- Plan and implement outreach activities and events to increase awareness and participation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community partners to support coordination and referrals.
- Develop and distribute educational materials and outreach resources.
- Assist in identifying priority populations and support referrals to program services.
- Document outreach activities and maintain records to support reporting and program monitoring.
- Other duties as assigned related to the position.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, Social Work, Communications, or a related field and at least 2 years of professional experience in public health outreach, community engagement, health education, or a related area. Experience working with community‑based organizations, schools, healthcare providers, housing programs, or other community service networks. Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or similar certification preferred.
Pre‑Employment RequirementsMust have a driver’s license and ability to travel. All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E‑Verify).
