Purpose:
Utilize exceptional interpersonal and relationship development skills to forge deep connections with corporate partners and individuals, fostering relationships that extend beyond transactions. - Collaborate for Impact: Team up with internal stakeholders to achieve defined KPIs, monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and use insights to guide necessary adjustments.
- Empower Fundraising Initiatives: Leverage fundraising expertise to empower volunteers and donors, providing motivation, direction, and resources through personal visits, written correspondence, and electronic platforms.
- Strategize for Growth: Develop compelling, purpose‑driven cultivation and stewardship strategies that enhance engagement and philanthropic contributions from St.Jude donors.
- Champion Donor Relationships: Build, maintain, and nurture a blended portfolio of 75–100 corporate, individual leadership annual donors and leadership volunteers, fostering growth in their contributions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program owners in Development to integrate stewardship, financial analysis, and program alignment.
- Data‑Driven Impact: Use high‑level understanding of data systems to drive effective stewardship strategies, analyzing donor interactions to tailor personalized touchpoints.
- Elevate Our Presence: Represent ALSAC/St.Jude Children's Research Hospital in all interactions, showcasing the hospital’s dedication and the fundraising organization’s impact.
- Develop and Grow: Create multiple high‑value ($1M+ revenue‑producing events, including dinners, galas, golf tournaments) with growth rates and expense ratios assigned by territory and area leadership.
- Compelling Communication: Convey complex ideas in a clear, relatable manner, influencing and inspiring others both in writing and speaking.
- Relationship Building: Show a donor‑centric focus with enduring and fruitful relationships, leveraging strong interpersonal skills.
- Innovative
Collaboration:
Work with diverse teams and stakeholders to identify, cultivate, and solicit donors. Conduct prospect research and develop sponsorship proposals. - Experience in Philanthropy: Relational event experience with committee, board, and corporate engagement, including strategic planning and execution of premier gala events.
- Corporate Sector Relationships: Preferably possess existing relationships within the corporate sector and the ability to prospect new corporate sponsors and donors.
- Executive Volunteer Leadership: Experience managing high‑level executive volunteer leadership committees.
- Education and Adaptability: Six or more years of relevant experience in fundraising, development, customer service, or sales. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Regular in‑market travel to support partners (15–20%), including some nights and weekends, and periodic travel for quarterly regional meetings and Memphis, TN for enterprise events. Valid driver’s license required. Position based in Phoenix Territory Office with an eligible hybrid schedule.
