Homebound Services Coordinator
The Homebound Services Coordinator coordinates transportation and handyperson services for homebound adults while supporting volunteer engagement and program growth. This role ensures high-quality service delivery through intake coordination, volunteer matching, and program oversight. The position plays a key role in strengthening volunteer services, supporting community members, and promoting organizational goals and values.
Essential Functions- Coordinate transportation and home repair services, including conducting intake calls and service assessments.
- Match clients with appropriate volunteers and coordinate service delivery.
- Communicate with clients regarding service status and follow up within established time frames.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage, support, and recognize volunteers.
- Maintain relationships with volunteers through ongoing communication and support.
- Conduct home assessments and make appropriate referrals to additional services.
- Monitor and review volunteer activity to ensure alignment with service needs.
- Accurately document all interactions, services, and updates in the volunteer services database.
- Complete required reports in a timely manner for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee quality assurance calls in accordance with established guidelines.
- Assist in planning and facilitating volunteer orientations, trainings, and recognition activities.
- Support organizational events, including conferences, fundraisers, and service initiatives.
- Promote a culture of philanthropy and community engagement.
- Perform additional duties and initiatives as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Post-secondary education preferred. Experience working with older adults preferred. Familiarity with community resources preferred. Experience using computer systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong documentation and data entry accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and reliability. Ability to handle interruptions and shifting priorities. Sensitivity to diverse populations and understanding of volunteer engagement. Ability to occasionally drive for work-related responsibilities.
