If you're passionate about leadership development, community engagement, event planning, and building meaningful partnerships, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on future leaders across Arizona.

This is more than a program management role—it's an opportunity to inspire individuals, strengthen communities, and help shape Arizona's future leaders.

What You'll Do

As the HLI Program Manager, you'll work alongside the Director of Leadership to oversee the planning, coordination, and growth of Valle del Sol's leadership programs.

You'll:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of multiple leadership development programs.
  • Recruit participants and build relationships with community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, and civic leaders.
  • Develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives that keep graduates connected and involved.
  • Coordinate leadership events, workshops, graduation ceremonies, and community activities.
  • Assist with curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners.
  • Support fundraising activities, sponsorship development, and grant initiatives.
  • Represent Valle del Sol and the Hispanic Leadership Institute throughout Arizona.
  • Track program outcomes, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to strengthen leadership programming and community impact.

    What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about leadership development and community engagement.
  • A relationship builder who enjoys connecting people and organizations.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and representing an organization in the community.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys working across teams.
  • Creative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
  • Excited about developing future leaders and strengthening Arizona communities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Leadership, Education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in program management, community engagement, nonprofit leadership, education, workforce development, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating events, projects, or community initiatives.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with the ability to travel regularly throughout Arizona.
Preferred
  • Experience with fundraising, sponsorship development, or grant support.
  • Graduate of a Valle del Sol Hispanic Leadership Institute program.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

At Valle del Sol, you'll join an organization committed to improving lives through integrated healthcare, behavioral health, and leadership development.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Help develop Arizona's next generation of leaders.
  • Build lasting relationships with community partners across the state.
  • Work alongside passionate professionals committed to making a difference.
  • Grow your career in a mission-driven organization that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
