Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join a high-performing surgical team in Phoenix, Arizona
. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with strong cardiac OR experience looking to work in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment.
- Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
. - Scrub and/or circulate for open-heart and vascular procedures as required.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusionists, and OR staff.
- Ensure patient safety, sterile technique, and adherence to surgical protocols.
- Document care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- 2+ years of recent CVOR experience
. - Experience with open-heart procedures (CABG, valve replacements, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical equipment and workflows.
- This role is ideal for a CVOR RN seeking professional growth in a major metro area with advanced cardiac programs.
