Certified Nursing Assistant; Float

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (Float)
Guided by the Nurse Manager or Director and working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers compassionate, age-specific care that supports the overall patient experience. This hands-on role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and performing clinical procedures#all while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The CNA plays a vital role in communicating patient needs and promptly reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team or physician.

With a strong focus on collaboration and attention to detail, the CNA also ensures accurate documentation in the medical record, helping to provide seamless, high-quality care across the healthcare team. # FLAT Hourly Rate: $24.00# # Qualifications

Education:

Prefers a High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

Prefer at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience. Specialized Training:
Must successfully complete#approved#Valley wise Health#computer classes. Certification/Licensure:
Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A BLS card#obtained through an approved#American Heart Association (AHA) training center is preferred and will be required within 3 months. Ambulatory Clinics/Desert Vista - Unit 2 Adolescent:
Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bilingual is preferred. Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people. Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English. Must be able to float to all departments as needed. Must be able to meet the conditions as stated in the employment agreement.
