We are currently seeking a dedicated NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Pulmonology. Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pulmonary conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and imaging studies.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies for respiratory illnesses.
- Educate patients and their families on pulmonary disease management and prevention.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives related to Pulmonology.
- Valid NP or PA license in Pulmonology.
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.
- Strong knowledge of pulmonary diseases, treatments, and guidelines.
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Compassionate attitude and patient-centered approach to care.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday (8a-5p), Friday (8a-12p)
No call or weekend shifts
Setting:
Outpatient
Daily Volume: 20-30 patients
Support Staff: MD
Preferred Experience:
1+ years of outpatient pulmonology
Board certification required
