Certified Nursing Assistant - Medical Oncology Ortho
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play an essential role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, you provide hands‑on support that promotes comfort, safety, and dignity for patients across the lifespan.
You are a key member of the care team — ensuring patients’ daily needs are met while serving as the eyes and ears of the clinical team.
What You’ll DoProvide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and report findings promptly
Perform delegated clinical procedures within scope of practice
Support patient comfort, safety, and overall well‑being
Observe, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising Nurse or Physician
Accurately complete and maintain patient documentation in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88
QualificationsEducation:
- Prefera high school diploma or GED.
Experience:
- Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare‑related experience.
Specialized Training:
- Must successfully complete approved Valley wise Health computer classes.
Certification/Licensure:
- Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
- Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
