Candidates must be clean-shaven for fit test.
Pass/fail exam on the first day of orientation is required.
Competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes is expected.
Familiarity with maintaining a sterile field is crucial.
Description:
The position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
Nurses will work in a fast-paced environment caring for a diverse patient population.
The ER typically handles trauma, burns, and pediatric patients.
Patient ratios are 1:4, ensuring focused and quality care.
The department is equipped with 36 acute beds and 54 subacute beds, along with 6 trauma bays.
Team members include charge nurses and nurse aides to support patient care.
Common diagnoses include trauma and burns with a high patient volume.
Candidates will be part of a collaborative healthcare team with ongoing support.
Nurses are expected to complete educational training on lifts, restraints, and wound care.
Understanding of telemetry and ability to read strips is required.
Emergency room staff will manage complex cases with the support of in-house physicians.
This role requires flexibility regarding weekend and holiday shifts based on unit needs.
