Job Description:

The RN (Registered Nurse) in the ICU will provide critical care to patients with neurological conditions in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves working within a dynamic team to care for patients with complex neuro diagnoses and performing key critical care skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Neuro ICU.
Manage patients with neuro diagnoses including brain surgeries and spinal procedures.
Float between ICU and Tele Units as necessary.
Participate in SIMs Lab for essential nursing skills and pass required competency exams.
Maintain patient records using the Cerner EMR system.
Requirements:
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
2 years of ICU experience in a large facility (450+ beds) required.
Level 1 Trauma experience and 3-6 months of travel experience required.
Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.
Compliance with SIMs Lab requirements and maintaining sterile field competency.
