Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with post-op, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, and infection diagnoses. The position requires Level 1 Trauma experience and expertise in maintaining a sterile field during SIMs Lab procedures.
Responsibilities:
Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
Participate in unit coverage including lifts, restraints, & wound care education
Provide nursing care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5
Float to other med/surg/tele areas as required
Requirements:
MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXP and recent Med Surg experience
BLS Certification
Ability to titrate Heparin drips
Natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must clean shave for fit test
