Job Overview

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a full‑time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide nursing care during surgical cases and to support patient care throughout their inpatient stay. The hospital is a specialty inpatient facility focused on orthopedic and spinal surgery.

$12,000.00 Sign On Bonus

• The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, multi‑task, maintain flexibility in assignments, uphold strict infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and work effectively as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
• Responsible for helping surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs under the direction of a RN.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS certified.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing.
• Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of young adult, adult, and geriatric patients.
