Position Overview

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document nursing care and monitor patient progress according to established standards.

Candidate/agency must be vendor neutral. No identifying agency merchandise may be seen while on assignment with Banner Health. A vendor neutral attestation must be signed prior to start, acknowledging all parties are aware. Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will not be considered – a copy must be included in the submission.

• Minimum 24 months of current PCU experience.
• Certifications must be American Heart Association OR client and active upon submission.
• No Nursys Hits.
• Flu vaccination required; include vaccination status in submission notes.
• Travel experience – Preferred.

• Learning modules must be completed prior to start of assignment.
• Non-billable hours have been adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment.
• Client or vendor may cancel an assignment in progress with 7 days written notice without penalty.
• Banner will not approve return to office within the first two weeks or holidays; RTO cannot exceed 7 days.
