Position Summary
PRN Clinical Nurse (Cystic Fibrosis/Pulmonary Program)
Join a specialized and supportive team providing care to pediatric patients with Cystic Fibrosis and pulmonary conditions. This PRN role offers flexibility while allowing you to build expertise in a highly rewarding specialty area. This is a PRN position, but we are looking for someone who wants to work a minimum 2 days/week (3 days preferred). Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Flexible scheduling;
must be available to work any weekday.
Incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Provide clinical support for pediatric Cystic Fibrosis and pulmonary patients
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinic setting
- Collaborate closely with providers and multidisciplinary teams
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (pulmonary or Cystic Fibrosis preferred)
- Prior clinic experience strongly preferred
- Genuine interest in the Cystic Fibrosis specialty

This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
Education- Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
- Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
- Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments. (Preferred)
