Gastroenterology NP or PA

Job Summary

Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in Phoenix, Arizona. Play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and high‑quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

• See patients in the outpatient clinic full time Monday‑Friday
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to Gastroenterology patients under physician supervision
• Participate in education development and growth of the GI division
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical directors to ensure quality and regulatory compliance

PA Requirements

• Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA‑C)
• Graduation from an accredited PA program
• Demonstrated experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology (managing common GI conditions, performing focused exams, ordering/interpreting diagnostics)
• Hold and maintain AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants license and NCCPA certification
• Valid DEA registration
• Meet credentialing criteria for medical staff

NP Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• Demonstrated experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology (managing common GI conditions, performing focused exams, ordering/interpreting diagnostics)
• Holding Compact state or Arizona RN license and Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
• National Certificate as an NP in specialty under AZ regulations (NP‑AACN, NP‑AANP, NP‑ANCC)
• Valid DEA registration
• Meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
