Job Summary and Responsibilities

The CARDIAC CATH LAB eph's Hospital and Medical Center supports the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence. Located on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower, the cath lab consists of 4 rooms plus a hybrid room dedicated to a patient population providing diagnostic and interventional services, including pacemakers, AICDs, electrophysiology procedures, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and LAAO.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Cath Lab, you will be a vital member of a high‑performing team, delivering critical and compassionate care to patients undergoing life‑saving cardiovascular procedures. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment where every action directly impacts patient outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective evidence‑based nursing care for cath lab patients, including pre‑, intra‑, and post‑procedure care.
• Assess patient conditions, recognize and adapt to changes in the laboratory, vitals, and test values, and perform timely, clinically appropriate interventions.
• Organize and prioritize complex patient care activities to ensure efficient delivery while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Communicate clearly with physicians and other providers, and ensure a seamless nurse‑to‑nurse handoff at the bedside.
• Advocate for patient needs, demonstrate holistic care practices, and uphold high ethical standards in all aspects of practice.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse: AZ.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s or BSN degree and one year of recent acute care experience.
