Nurse Cath Lab

Overview

The Cardiac Cath Lab eph's Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence, supporting the Heart & Vascular Institute. The Cath Lab is located on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower and consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room, providing diagnostic and interventional services for a patient population including pacemakers, AICD, electrophysiology procedures, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and LAAO.

• Expert Clinical Care:
  Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to Cath Lab patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care.
• Critical Assessment & Intervention:
  Proficiently assess patient conditions, recognize and adapt to changes (e.g., lab values, vitals), and perform timely, clinically appropriate interventions.
• Prioritization & Organization:
  Skillfully organize and prioritize complex patient care activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborative Communication:
  Clearly communicate with physicians and other providers, and ensure a seamless nurse-to-nurse handoff at the bedside.
• Patient Advocacy & Ethics:
  Serve as a dedicated advocate for patient needs, demonstrating holistic care practices and upholding high ethical standards in all aspects of practice.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
• Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days

• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) and one year recent acute care experience, upon hire

Pay Range: $35.00 - $58.63 /hour
