Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN with a background in Behavioral Health to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

The Registered Nurse (RN) PRN is a registered professional nurse who coordinats the intake/admission process for new admits. The RN prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Intake RN PRN documents and reassesses any significant changes in the patient’s condition in compliance with facility policy, and completes and reports acuities to the supervisor for the next shift’s staffing levels.

• Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility
• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged − yrs+
• One year of med/surge experience
