RN Pre Op/PACU Fill Time
USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Full‑Time Registered Nurse with Pre Op/PACU experience.
Job Summary- The RN Pre‑op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
- The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- The RN will be working in Pre Op/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
- The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

- Current Arizona Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
- Excellent teaching skills
- Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
