USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is a specialty inpatient hospital providing orthopedic and spinal surgery.

The RN Pre‑Op/PACU is a Registered Nurse who provides quality patient care using the nursing process and the medical plan of care. Responsibilities include positioning and prepping patients, circulating cases, and delivering care during surgery.

  • The RN Pre‑Op/PACU is a Registered Nurse who provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
  • The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
  • The RN will be working in Pre Op/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
  • The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills Education, Training, and Experience Requirements
  • Current Arizona Nursing License
  • Current BLS, ACLS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
