This position will perform a variety of roles, including monitoring, assisting the physician during procedures, and using the pacing stimulator.

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Renders individualized, age‑specific bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Performs all aspects of clinical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• May assist with compilation and reporting of procedural information to benchmarking, regulatory, or accreditation agencies as required.
• Participates with all team members to provide and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with occasional periods of above‑average pressure.
• Ability to tolerate long periods of standing and to wear lead aprons during procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1+ years in Emergency Department, ICU, or procedural setting nursing.
• Education:
  
  Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Certifications:
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS) with renewal every two years.

• Experience:
  • CVICU, ICU, or minimum 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
  • At least one (1) year of prior Cardiac Cath/EP Lab experience.
  • Hemodynamics experience.
• Education:
  
  BSN.
• Certifications:
  • Certification in specialty area of practice.
  • Certified as a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
