Multiple shift options available - 8, 10, or 12 hours

The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi‑task, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, sustain professional competencies, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. The RN is responsible for helping surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs under the direction of a RN.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS certified.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing.
• Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of young adult, adult and geriatric patients.

8 hours, 10 hours or 12 hours
