This short‑term acute care facility is seeking a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens clinic coverage. The facility supports on‑site clinical operations and maintains established protocols to ensure quality care delivery for the geriatric patient population. Clinicians will work in a structured clinic setting designed to accommodate the comprehensive needs of geriatric patients.
Clinician’s WorkdayThe clinician will provide day shift geriatric primary care services at an on‑site clinic facility in Arizona.
- Manage chronic conditions such as dementia, arthritis, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and cognitive screenings as part of preventative care.
- Oversee medication management, including safe prescribing and adjustment to minimize polypharmacy complications.
