Role:
The Acute Registered Nurse provides specialized dialysis care within a hospital setting, supervising patient care staff and ensuring quality treatment.
- Administer medications, perform physical assessments, manage dialysis equipment, and maintain infection control.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams, document patient data, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Participate in staff training, promote teamwork, and support operational efficiency by managing supplies, inventory, and water quality checks.
- Current RN license, CPR certification, basic computer skills, and ability to pass color screening.
- Preferred experience includes prior dialysis nursing and at least 12 months of nursing practice.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and hospital policies is essential.
- Effective communication, teamwork, technical proficiency with dialysis systems, and adherence to safety protocols.
