In this role you will work with MDs and other PAs/NPs, directing allied health staff and delivering clinical care to patients within the GI Oncology team.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Formulate a diagnostic impression
• Develop and implement a treatment plan
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
• Prescribe pharmacological agents and treatments
• Implement non-pharmacological therapies
• Offer counseling and education to meet patient needs

• 1–2 years of NP or PA oncology experience required; new graduates will not be considered.
• For NPs:
  Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited nursing school and NP program; current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as FNP, ANP, or AGPCNP.
• For PAs:
  Graduate of an accredited PA program; current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as PA by the Arizona State Board of Medical Practice.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; DEA registration required.
