Location & Shift- Facility: GSS ND Larimore Ctr
- Shift: 12‑hour day shifts (7 am–7:30 pm)
- Schedule:
Full time - Hours:
12 hours daily; every other weekend & holiday rotation
- $26+ per hour (based on experience)
- $25,000 sign‑on bonus (first $12,500 paid after 60 days)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, performs testing, administers medications or treatments, documents care, and works effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provides nursing care to residents of all ages.
- Performs testing and evaluates data reflective of resident status.
- Administers medications or treatments as ordered.
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with residents, health‑care providers, and the public.
- Counsels residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Develops self‑care programs based on resident education principles.
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
- If IV therapy/management skills are required, possess a North Dakota Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy curriculum or a completed IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility or completion of a pre‑licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.
- Current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi‑state licensure privileges.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training of the department and facility.
- Valid LPN license in North Dakota.
