Job Summary and Responsibilities
Certified Nurse Assistant performs direct patient care, including bathing, oral care, feeding, ambulation, and vital signs. Performs other duties such as inventory, documentation, clerical, dietary, light housekeeping, and computer input.
- Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfer
- Collects laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol, maintaining zero tolerance for mislabeled specimens
- Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments and procedures as requested
- Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies
- Assists in patient/equipment preparation
- Performs follow-up actions as directed
- Completion of C.N.A. program
- Certified Nursing Assistant: AZ
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- First Aid
- Six months acute care C.N.A. experience (preferred)
Phoenix, Arizona. St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, a 571‑bed not‑for‑profit hospital.
Pay Range$18.00 - $23.30 /hour
