Role Overview :
The Acute Registered Nurse provides specialized dialysis care within a hospital setting, supervising patient care activities and assisting healthcare staff. They perform patient assessments, administer medications, operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment, and ensure compliance with legal and institutional policies. The nurse collaborates with physicians and hospital teams, maintains accurate documentation, and promotes quality patient outcomes. They participate in infection control, staff training, and process improvements to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid RN license, preferably with dialysis experience, CPR certification, and basic computer proficiency. Ability to communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and work collaboratively. Must pass color screening and meet hospital employment standards.
Key Duties
- Administer dialysis treatments and medications per physician orders.
- Perform patient assessments before and after treatments.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot dialysis machines and water systems.
