What You’ll Do

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) who assesses consumers and documents pertinent information including triage, behavioral health, physical health, and/or substance abuse issues. The RN demonstrates knowledge of crisis intervention, can de‑escalate potentially aggressive situations, and provides education to consumers and their families regarding behavioral health diagnosis, medications, and treatments.

  • Completes detailed nursing assessments with individuals, documenting triage, medical/behavioral health assessments, and medication administration using appropriate assessment tools. Records all medication brought in by the individual on a medication reconciliation/storage form.
  • Plans individual treatment as part of the multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Provides education concerning psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and overall health literacy to individuals, families, and other involved parties.
  • Intervenes with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out‑of‑control or potentially dangerous behaviors, demonstrating therapeutic option theory and technique.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of seclusion/restraint standards, guidelines, and techniques, and initiates documentation and debriefing with individuals for any incidents.
  • Accurately transcribes provider orders and administers medications as prescribed. Attempts to have individuals sign medication consent forms. Performs chart checks and signs off as a second noted on medications prescribed. Draws labs and provides wound care as ordered by providers when required.
  • Competes nurse‑to‑nurse transitions at discharge or when accepting individuals from another facility.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
  • Unrestricted active license as a registered professional nurse through the Arizona State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege.
  • The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Safely perform physical interventions (e.g., standing, pivoting, reaching, kneeling, lowering to the floor, and supporting another person’s weight).
  • Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Tolerate prolonged walking, standing, and observation in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Work with individuals who may exhibit agitation, aggression, or unpredictable behavior.
