You’ll join our team in a smaller hospital setting where collaboration, respect, and a true family feel are part of everyday work. How you’ll contribute
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree; BSN preferred from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • BCLS required
  • ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Valley View Medical Center is a 102,000‑square‑foot acute‑care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to the community. It has 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8‑bed labor, delivery and postpartum unit, 16‑bed Emergency Department and is the only all‑private‑bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
