Important: This facility does not accept Arizona residents for travel assignments. Candidates must have a permanent residence outside of Arizona. Driver’s license address will be used for verification.
Position: RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
Day Shift
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Per facility guidelines
Holiday Requirement: Per facility guidelines
What You'll Need- Active RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong telemetry and intermediate care experience
- Experience caring for higher-acuity patients requiring close monitoring
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for PCU patients
- Monitor patients requiring cardiac monitoring and higher-level care
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans
- Recognize changes in patient condition and escalates care appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families throughout the care process
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe patient outcomes
- Work in a high-acuity Progressive Care environment
- Gain experience caring for complex patient populations
- Opportunity to work with an experienced clinical team
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
