Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse

Banner Estrella Medical Center is a 353-bed acute care hospital providing a full range of health care services to the fast growing communities of west Phoenix. 3A is a 24 bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) that serves patients with medically complex cardiac needs. This unit sees a variety of cardiac related diagnosis, cardiac drips, pre/post procedures including TAVR recovery and recovery of open hearts post ICU downgrade, may also see pulmonary, renal and vascular patients. The vast majority of the patients in the PCU require continuous cardiac monitoring.

Ratio flex between 1:4-5, however most of the time ratios are 1:4. The Progressive Care Unit at Banner Estrella Medical Center is currently seeking experienced PCU Nurses, but at this time we are accepting application for those that have Telemetry, ICU, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Medical/Surgical or any other acute or critical care background. This is a full-time night shift, working three 12 hour shifts per week, 7:00pm to 7:30am, with rotating weekends/holidays.

Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential when applicable and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
