Nursing - PICU

Job Title: PICU
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate
: $68 - $73/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PICU for a temporary assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.

• Work in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care
• Provide nursing care appropriate to patients' age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care
• Adhere to evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards, hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards
• Float between NICU and PICU as required by the assignment
• Work day and/or night shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a) as determined during the interview
• Maintain current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges
• Maintain current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current NRP certification (preferred)
• Comply with flu vaccination requirements from October through April or sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreement and mask during the full respiratory virus season
• Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in pediatric CVICU
• Hold a two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree
