Pay Rate: $50-$55/hour
Employment Type: PRN / As Needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Hours offered as needed based on business demand; this is not a full‑time position)
Why This Role MattersAs an Occupational Health & Wellness Nurse (RN), you will support employee health through preventive care, injury management, wellness initiatives, and health coaching. In this PRN capacity, you'll provide valuable clinical coverage and wellness support when needed, helping promote a healthy, safe, and productive workforce.
What You'll Do- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and wellness evaluations
- Provide first aid, triage, and support for workplace injuries and illnesses
- Manage occupational injury cases and workers' compensation processes
- Coordinate return-to-work programs and workplace accommodations
- Treat patients and provide education on various medical conditions
- Offer advice and emotional support to patients and family members as appropriate
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms
- Assist with diagnostic testing and analyze results
- Operate medical equipment and administer treatments and medications
- Support patient follow-up care and rehabilitation efforts
- Deliver health coaching on nutrition, stress management, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Maintain confidential employee health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Support vaccination clinics, wellness campaigns, and employee health initiatives
- Partner with HR, Benefits, EAP providers, and leadership to enhance employee well‑being programs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and occupational health regulations
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Current Arizona RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Occupational health, employee health, wellness, case management, urgent care, or corporate healthcare experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Experience with OSHA standards, workers' compensation, and health promotion programs preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and case management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on PRN staffing needs
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
